Academic success made easier
Support and accessibility are two key aspects of school residences that help students do well in school. Students benefit from an environment that’s conducive to learning and perfectly adapted to their school lives. They have access to amazing resources to help them succeed. Educators and professionals as well as computers and other equipment all play a part in helping students get their grades up quickly. Students are also called upon to discuss material they cover in class. These discussions help them synthesize what they’ve learned and cement the knowledge in their minds.
A school residence is a learning environment where any student can succeed!
Elementary school students
Elementary school students usually receive support in the daycare centre between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. If you’ve got some homework to do, you might as well get it over with quickly! In the evening, the educators check that students have completed their homework, then it’s time to relax and have fun.
High school students
High school students usually have a nightly supervised study period. Residents have access to computers, the Internet, and the school network to complete their work. Educators are also available to answer any questions and can contact students’ teachers to get clarification on assignments if need be.
For students with learning disabilities, supervised study periods are a huge advantage because they help students organize their work, take the time they need to develop their academic skills, and stay motivated.
